FAQ
Precise information on Cummins engine components, logistics and the quality standards we work to.
The key to a faultless match is the Engine Serial Number (ESN). It has 8 digits and is stamped on the engine data plate.
- What we do: using the ESN we check your configuration in the official QuickServe Online system. You get exactly the component the designers specified for your particular serial number.
We believe in transparency. Our catalogue covers three categories of product:
- First-fit parts: components identical to those leaving the factory in a new engine, supplied in manufacturer packaging.
- OEM components (Original Equipment Manufacturer): parts made by specialist factories (Holset for turbochargers, Bosch for injection systems, Fleetguard for filtration) that design these components directly for Cummins.
- High-grade replacements: selected parts from proven European and American suppliers that meet or exceed the engine manufacturer technical specifications.
Yes. We cover both the latest units meeting Stage V / Tier 4 Final standards and the proven designs of the 1990s, such as the 6BT, 6CT and L10/M11 series. We have access to the documentation needed to match parts even for engines withdrawn from regular production.
We supply engines in three levels of completeness โ the choice depends on the extent of the failure and your budget.
- Long block: a factory-assembled short block with cylinder head. The answer to serious mechanical failures when the ancillaries from your unit are still fit to transfer.
- Complete engine: ready to install, with the full fuel system, turbocharging and electrical equipment.
- Factory-remanufactured engine: restored to factory specification using only new internal components โ the balance between price and service life.
We do not sell complete engines off the shelf. Selection and pricing are handled individually against the serial number โ write via the contact form or call us.
Yes. Every complete engine goes through quality control before it leaves the warehouse.
- Remanufactured units: tested on a dynamometer under load to confirm that power and torque match the engine specification sheet.
Heavy and precision components are packed for transport, not just for storage.
- Critical components: crankshafts travel horizontally on dedicated transport cradles, protected with VCI anti-corrosion coating and shrink film.
- Heavy assemblies: shipped only on reinforced EURO pallets or in purpose-built wooden crates.
We serve customers across the European Union and export markets.
- Oversized shipments: thanks to agreements with global freight forwarders we deliver units over 1,000 kg anywhere in Europe, typically within a few working days.
- Lead time: we confirm the exact date before you place the order โ it depends on the size of the shipment and the destination.
Yes, to the extent required by service procedures.
- Precision components: injectors, pumps and turbochargers come with calibration reports or test protocols where these are required.
- Repair kits: bolt torque specifications are available on request.
Yes. For businesses with an active EU VAT number we sell under the intra-Community supply procedure, at 0% VAT.
- What to provide: your VAT number with the country prefix (for example DE123456789) in the โNIP or EU VAT numberโ field on the order form.
